We offer a comprehensive range of preventative care, including cleanings, periodontal (gum) therapy, sealants. We also provide state-of-the-art, low emitting digital radiography to aid in early diagnosis of dental problems.
Gadsden Dental is proud to offer dentistry to all ages, including children. We recommend a child make her first visit between the ages of one and two. We will work hard to ensure that your children have positive experiences at the dentist unlike many children from previous generations. We provide cleanings, sealants, fillings and other services to children, recognizing that establishing good habits early will result in healthy teeth for a lifetime!
We use the latest tooth colored, light-cured composite and glass ionomer materials to fill teeth and restore them to their original condition. We always say, “God made our teeth best to start with”, but we will strive to achieve restorations that look, feel and perform like natural teeth.
Crowns and Bridges
Ceramic crowns and bridges restore badly broken down and missing teeth. Dental materials used for these types of restorations have made tremendous strides in recent years. Our restorations contain no unsightly metal and remain beautiful for decades when cared for properly.
Endodontics (Root Canals)
When decay approaches the nerve of a tooth, it may be necessary to remove the nerve to prevent further pain. We offer this vital service in office. Many patients fear this procedure, however continued advancements in endodontic instrumentation allow for these procedures to be relatively quick and painless.
As a last resort, we will safely and effectively remove teeth beyond repair. We take great pride in being able to offer most types of tooth extractions right here at Gadsden Dental; however in the incident where our practice is limited, we will gladly facilitate an appointment with a suitable oral surgeon.
We use the latest technology to fabricate custom biteguards in our laboratory. After taking custom impressions, a range of devices can be made to address conditions such as snoring, grinding, and TMJ pain. In addition, custom sports mouthguards are a proven way to both protect teeth and prevent concussions!
Dental implants are a relatively new treatment option to replace missing teeth or stabilize a complete denture. Implants function exactly as real teeth. This is again something that sometimes can be offered here at Gadsden Dental, but if not, we can gladly arrange an appointment with an appropriate dental specialist.
